January 11: Arrive Mumbai | 12: Fly Madurai & drive Karaikudi | 13 & 14: Explore Karaikudi and enjoy Pongal Festival | 15 & 16: Return Madurai, explore the many temples and palaces of the area | 17 & 18: Drive into the lush green hills of Kerala and explore the tea gardens of Munnar | 19 & 20: Head to Alleppey to explore the backwaters and partake in the local church festival | 21 & 22: Drive to Kochi to explore the city and some special performances | 23: Return to Mumbai to prepare for flights home | 24: En route home.
