Ohdeardrea Dreams of India

Dreamed up in the colorful world of Ohdeardrea, curated by the adventure travel experts, Above the Clouds.

Andrea Duclos of Ohdeardrea came to us with a dream - to explore India in a way that exposes the colorful life of the people through experiencing their traditions, food and arts - all while getting off the beaten path. Her dream of adventure and deep connection to experiencing India inspired this unique itinerary through Rajasthan, the most colorful corner of all of India.

This two-week itinerary has been handcrafted to maximize the time abroad by reaching below the surface and into the heart of India. Through hands-on lessons in local pottery, block-printing and tie-dyeing textiles, this itinerary not only introduces you to the traditions and art of India - but invites you to bring them home with you as well. Meanwhile, almost every day invites you to experience yoga (in the place it was born) and to take part in following many of our meals - from market to plate!

While born out of a dream, this itinerary was created while focusing on the realities of the schedule of life in India. It has been designed to match up exactly in dates so we can be a part of Jaipur’s world renowned festivals of color, Holi!

By allowing a dreamer to share her visions of adventure in India and combining that with expert knowledge of life on the ground, this trip invites you to transcend the way that India has traditionally been traveled and to explore the colorful life of the subcontinent in a hands-on, off the beaten path way.
