Intro

Far and away, the most well known name in Nepal is Mt. Everest. Located in the Khumbu region, the tallest mountain in the world is framed by neighbors vying for some of the attention and lined with trails leading all the way up to the summit.  These trails are some of the best known in the country as the allure of seeing the famed summit is a strong pull for many. Visiting and trekking in this area is great! The region is accessible, the path is wide and comfortable for hiking, there are some great lodges and the trails are shared with some of the best mountaineers in the world.
